Wednesday 21st November at 7.30pm:
A Celtic Evening with music and poetry. Venue- the church in the village of Fontaine Notre Dame , near Cambrai .
Music will be supplied by pipe band musicians .
The life and poetry of Mackintosh will be brought to you by Colin Campbell author of Can't shoot a man with a cold , based on the life and works of Mackintosh .
Thursday 22nd November at 10 am :
A commemorative guided walk will follow the steps of Mackintosh from billets in Metz en Couture to his final resting place in the Orival Cemetery in Cantaing sur Escaut .
The battlefield commentary will be provided by Colin Campbell . A French translation will de provided . The walk will take in the tank in Flesquières before arriving at Orival cemetery . A plinth to Mackintosh will be unveiled in the St. Hubert chapel .
